Event Photography Pricing: Know What It Costs

Our pricing is simple: event photography and conference coverage starts from £450. Corporate and LinkedIn headshot packages are also available from £450, with three tiers (£450 / £650 / £850) depending on the size of your team. VAT is not applicable. Your edited photo library is typically delivered within 24 hours of the event.

After finding the photographers that are the right fit for you and your event, it’s important to make sure they’re also the best person for the job. Here are five questions every client should ask their potential photographers before booking them.

1. What services do I get with this package? You want to know what each service includes (e.g., length of coverage and number of photos), how many days coverage will be provided, and any extra fees such as travel expenses or editing costs not included in the cost of your package. It helps to compare packages from a few photographers so that you can figure out which one suits all your needs at an affordable price point.
2. How soon after the event will photos be ready? It’s important to know how long you can expect to wait before your final photos are ready and any rush fees involved. Some photographers offer a service where you’ll have access to the online gallery almost immediately after the event so that friends and family members don’t need to wait for their prints or order them themselves.
3. What is your cancellation policy? This varies depending on the vendor, but some require at least 30 days’ notice while others only allow cancellations within 24 hours of an event, which means all deposits may not be refundable in this case. Make sure they’re willing to work with your schedule.
4. Who owns my images (copyright)? When hiring a photographer, you must understand who owns your images and where they can be used before you hand over your hard-earned money. The photographer may own the copyright to all photos taken during their event or provide a limited licence that allows the client to use them for personal prints but not commercial purposes without written permission from the vendor.
5. How long are event photos stored electronically? Many photographers offer clients the option to purchase unlimited photo storage for a small monthly fee, which helps them maintain and organise their files while also saving space on their hard drive.
